Schadt Ave- After multiple delays throughout the day, we have unfortunately reached a point where we are no longer able to complete the remaining bracket games as scheduled. In consultation with our state office, and with the safety of players, coaches, parents, and officials as our top priority, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of today’s games.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and understand how disappointing this is—especially during a State Championship event that we take great pride in hosting. We were genuinely excited to have your teams participate in such a prestigious tournament, and we thank you for your commitment, patience, and sportsmanship throughout the weekend.

Good morning! Thanks to the wind and heat, the fields were able to dry out quite a bit on their own. Our field crews have been out since 5:30 AM working hard to get everything ready. We are on schedule to start at normal time.

Coaches, players and families- with all of the rain that hit us last weekend and continued into this week, the fields took on quite a bit of water. Our staff was out all day today working to get things ready, but unfortunately, a second round of storms rolled through, leaving some fields underwater with large puddles.
Our crews were back out again after the storm and will be returning early tomorrow morning at 5:30 AM to finish removing standing water, applying field dry, and doing everything possible to recover the maximum number of playable fields.
We do have contingency plans in place in the event of a delay. Please be on the lookout for an update between 6:00 and 7:00 AM.
As always, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we do everything we can to ensure a great experience. We are very excited to kick off this year’s State Championships and can’t wait to get everyone on the field!

Combining Divisions
The USSSA State Office will combine Open, A and B classifications if a division is in danger of being canceled due to lack of registrations. If the combined event has 12 or more teams, we will split the bracket for Sunday play. Bracket split percentage will be based on the number of teams in the event by registered class. Teams in the C classified events with insufficient numbers to hold an event, will be given the opportunity to play in a higher classification, if available, to ensure their opportunity to participate.
