Tournament Site Director

This position is our direct contact with our customers, which include team managers, coaches, parents and players during our tournaments.  Duties include making sure all games are on schedule, score inputting, social media posting, award presentation ceremony, and team pictures.  Policing of the park for cleanliness.  Communicate with the tournament director.  This position offers employment during our tournament season (March through July and September and October)

Responsibilities include field preparation (grooming, raking and lining), moving bases and pitching mounds.  Policing of grounds, emptying trash, stocking and cleaning restrooms.  This position also provides support for the site director.  Flexible weekend shifts.  This position offers employment during our tournament season (March through July and September and October)

USSSA Umpire Position

Do you love the game of softball? Would you like to add work experience to your resume? Did you ever think about applying your knowledge of the game of softball to umpiring? Become a USSSA umpire! USSSA is accepting applications from enthusiastic and dependable students and graduates to officiate youth softball in the eastern PA and NJ areas. Umpires have the opportunity to continue their love of the sport after high school and give back to the softball community, while navigating through an ever changing school and social schedule. Work as often or as little as you like and still have time for family, friends and studies. Being an umpire is a great opportunity for college students to earn quick money while being in a familiar environment that they love. Previous officiating experience is not required.

Sports Management Intern

Assist the USSSA Eastern PA & NJ with daily operations of the USSSA Fast pitch events, which will include USSSA qualifiers and Camps. The event operations intern will be involved with onsite management, and administration of various USSSA Fast pitch events and programs. Other responsibilities include social media management, communicating with coaches, parents, umpires, state directors, and administering the registrations of teams and athletes.

Sporting Event Retail Management Intern

Assist USSSA Eastern PA/New Jersey to successfully execute our onsite and web based retail apparel business.  This position includes identifying new products, ordering products, weekly inventory of items and placing reorders.  Staffing weekend retail sales sites.  Identifying areas for operational improvement. Interns will gain experience in both amateur and professional sports in the areas of event operations and management, marketing, public relations.
